Birthday Time!!!

Well its that time of year already. Andrew turned 1 on may 5th. It went so fast I cant even believe it. We had a great party with family and close friends. It was a busy weekend cause it was our anniversary, andrews birthday and mothers day all within days of each other. We had a BBQ for his birthday and then cake and ice cream. I decided that I would give Andrew his own cake for him to eat and Im so glad that I did cause he went to town and had so much fun with it. It was the shape of a monkey. It turned out so cute. I think I might do something like that every year. Thanks to everyone that came and made his first birthday a hit.

Now for his one year stats:

weight: 24lbs 3 oz

height: 31 inches

head size: 48 cm

I cant remember the exact size of the head...I cant remember where I put the paper with the measurements.

Some things that Andrew has been doing is

walking everywhere for the past couple of months

waving hi and bye

giving high fives

showing us what he wants to do

learning how to go down steps at grammys house

he is such a flirt with baby girls

he loves to touch new babies

he loves to play in the bathroom with the toilet paper any chance he gets

I just love how mobile he is now.

Well I was just trying to get pictures from facebook and post to here but its not allowing me. And because I was relying on my siblings to get some good pictures from the party I dont have them right now. As soon as I have them I will post them. So until next time.

9 MONTH STATS

weight 22 lbs 5 oz

height 29 3/4 inches

head size not a clue but ridiculously big, which would explain why he gets to go to the head doctor about possibly getting a helmet.

He is not crawling but trying to walk everywhere. He knows how to say a few things like baba, mama, gaga. I love it cause brad tries to get him to say dada but he stares at brad and says mama, mama.

This is Liz's sister Emily I have hijacked her account since

she never updates this and I was sick of reading the same thing for months now. In the past few months Liz and I have been running errands on Saturday and boy has Andrew had a good time and I have proof of just how much fun Andrew and Auntie Em have at the store.

This picture with the hat is around Christmas time. I wanted to find a hat for him that looked like this but in his size and no luck he head was to big for the babies ones so we went to the mens section and it finally fit. I was just a little large. I couldn't get over this picture it was so cute.

The one with the glasses we took a trip to Sam's club and they had the optical there and I thought he would look so cute with some glasses one. He is a looking a little nerdy but you just can't help but love him.

Anyways he is supposed to be getting tubes in this thursday for both ears and then should also be going to talk to the head doctor and see what they have to say. I love this kid to pieces oh and by the way he has gotten his 4th haircut at the age of 9 months. If they let it grow to long he begins to look like a girl so I convinced them he would look like little man if he got a haircut. Hopefully not Liz will keep this thing better updated for everyone and put his stats on here.

Slurpees!

I decided to head over to my parents house today while Brad was at work and we had lots of fun at Grammys. I really wanted a slurpee so we went and got one and I decided to share some with Andrew. I got him addicted to them. I would give him some and then once I would take a slurp he would cry for more. He is such a goof ball when it comes to food. He is trying to get our food all the time.

4 months old!

Oh boy time sure does fly when your having fun. Andrew is already 4 months old. We went to his check up the other day and he has grown so much. Right now he is 17 lbs 2 oz 89%, 25 3/4 inches long 80%, and 44.6 cm head 96%. Its no wonder why he cried every time we get him dressed for the day cause he has a huge head and he hates anything to go over it. He certainly has a personality now. He is laughing now at everything and still all smiles. He is such a happy baby except when he is hungry. He has discovered that if he doesn't get something with one cry he will do a different cry to get our attention. Its his cry saying HELLO I'm here you can't ignore me cause I will be obnoxious just for you till you give me attention cry. It sure is cute but can definitely drive you crazy sometimes. He is such a hand full but I certainly don't know what I would do without him. Currently we are just waiting for him to roll over. He always gets so close but then stops. I hope he waits till I get to see him do it for the first time. He also loves him bumbo that helps him sit up. He is doing so great and happier than ever.
